I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the program of Learning, Design, and Technology at UGA.  I was born and raised in Oman. Before I came here, I was working as a lecturer in the Instructional and Learning Technologies (ILT) department at the College of Education at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU). Through the years of my work in the educational technology field, I believed in using technology to solve educational problems and to make teaching and learning better, not just as a tool. I consider teaching an essential and enjoyable part of my being. My academic background is totally related to the field of educational technology, as I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in instructional and learning technologies from Sultan Qaboos University in Oman in 2009, and 2018.

I am here  to enhance my qualifications and to significantly impact society by promoting a positive view of technology in educational settings in my Arab nations and utilizing technology effectively to enhance the learning process, thereby enhancing the overall learning experience.
